At the bend of the path there is a splendid view of Camps Bay beach below, and the mountain of the 12 apostles on your left. Be careful, the wind often blows very hard here at the top!

Hiking

Cape Town is on one side of Lion's Head and the beach towns of Camps Bay, Clifton Beach etc. on the other. There you can also see the rock formations 12 Apostles in the back of Table Mountain. Nothing is level there anymore, but very steep.
