The Little Castle in Wolfenbüttel, also called Bevernsches Schloss, is a baroque building that is located directly next to Wolfenbüttel Castle on the Schlossplatz there. The construction of the building dates back to 1643. Over the centuries it has been extended, rebuilt and reduced again several times. The two-storey half-timbered building with a mezzanine that still exists today dates back to 1730 and consists of the original west wing of the Small Castle. It basically got its present form around 1830.
