The town hall used to be the house of the Salzburg cellar master and the wine cellar. It received its current baroque-classical appearance in the 18th century from Franz Xaver Jud. In 1920 the house was acquired by the municipality and has been the town hall since then. The adjoining town hall park with its beautiful green areas serves as an urban resting place

The town hall with its eye-catching facade is located in the center of Deutschlandsberg. It was mentioned as early as 1322 as a building belonging to Deutschlandsberg Castle. In the baroque period it was supposed to be a Capuchin monastery, which was then built in Schwanberg. The building was given its current appearance in the 18th century and has served as the town hall of Deutschlandsberg since 1925.
