The Gersdorfer Burg comprised a medieval village complex that fell into desolation as early as the 13th century, a castle complex that was founded in the first half of the 12th century, and younger farm buildings that have been used as an agricultural enterprise since 1756. Only the 24m high keep is actually well preserved.

There are benches to linger on the site, but access is not possible (although a gate is broken and open) Everything is overgrown and neglected, can someone tell me why nothing is being done here?

Too bad the castle is not accessible. One sees moats, ramparts and a keep.
