The Tillenberg with the former radar station on its summit and below the ridge a former barracks of the border troops, the ruins of the old Dylen barracks. The Tillenberg was inaccessible during the Cold War. On the one hand for the reason that here was a monitoring system of radio transmission from former West Germany and also for the reason that Tillenberg was right on the border and right on the Iron Curtain. Here was the location of soldiers from the barracks in Hamrníky, later from Klimentov. Their task was also to disrupt the radio transmission. The soldiers have worked here since the 60s of the 20th century until 1992.
