"Ackermann's monumental square with an inscribed circle, created especially for the SCULPTOURA, was fictitiously cut in two at the top and bottom, so that it splits apart in pieces at the bottom. The reason is quickly found: On top lies a sphere that figures as an aestheticized or symbolically earthen globe : at one time as a destructive element, at another time as a self-threatened creation of the creative spirit - on the one hand it has presumably shattered the geometric form beneath itself, on the other hand its position is a fragile act when viewed in terms of the laws of perceived gravity. Ackermann wins over the scrap, which he likes to use, gives it a poetic touch, cultivates the brutal materiality with a haunting aesthetic that does not miss its effect in exposed places in nature. Ackermann turns an impressive view of the landscape into something - albeit clearly shattered - Gate to the World."

For me one of the most beautiful sculptures because of the view of Moors

Untitled – Lutz Ackermann
A powerful form made of Corten steel frames the view of the tower – sculpture and landscape merge into a perfect motif with a sense of depth.
