You can visit the Georgsturm in the castle courtyard. Entry costs 50 cents. The stairs at the beginning are really sloping. From above you can see a lot and far. There is also a small information table below.

The keep of the Schaumburg castle complex, which was essentially built in the 14th century and renovated in 1908, was given its common name "Georgsturm" by Prince Georg zu Schaumburg-Lippe (1846-1911), who ordered its reconstruction. As a reconstruction in 1908 led by the architect Albrecht Haupt on the foundations of the keep, which had been in disrepair since 1640, when the line of the Counts of Schaumburg died out, it is of architectural and art historical value.
