St. Elżbieta in Wrocław (also known as the Parish Church of Elżbietańska or the garrison church) - a gothic church with a 91.46 m high tower at the northwest corner of the Wrocław market square, one of the two former parish churches in the city. The patron of the basilica is St. Elizabeth of Hungary, also known as Elżbieta of Thuringia. There is a Mausoleum of Remembrance of the Polish Underground State and the Home Army [2] [3].

The church is located on the square between Kiełbaśnicza, Odrzańska, św. Nicholas and St. Elżbieta, which is a pendant to Solny Square.

In the square by the Basilica, you can meet a few gnomes
including "Krasnal Veteran" and "Krasnal Sleepy"

The church is one of the oldest places of worship in the city. It was built in the fourteenth century. An old wooden church from the 11th century also stood on this site.
