Urbanus is considered the patron saint of vineyards and winemakers. It is also said to offer protection against drunkenness, gout and frost. When the old "Hiiatahütte" on the Mandelhöhe fell victim to a fire in the spring of 1989, the Urbanuskapelle was built on the foundations of the ruined fire. The template for this was the coat of arms of the city, which Maximilian I awarded in 1514 to the "Markte Traiskirchen". The crucifix of the former prison chapel in Möllersdorf was used for the Urbanuskapelle. In the basement of the chapel is the highest vinotheque in Traiskirchen.
