"Thunderstorm is the name of a distinctive rock formation on the Teufelsmauer between Blankenburg (Harz) and the district Timmenrode. It is located on the 1934 developed hiking trail on the north side of the Teufelsmauer, east of the Heidelberges on the edge of the Sautroges. The storm grotto is marked with a sandstone tablet. Furthermore, a panel explains the history of the formation of the conspicuous sandstone weathering "🤠👹
