Sunshine, the sky blue. Best bike weather. Made tea, put on tights and asked Junior if he would like to come with us. Our first bike tour 2021 started today! The goal was once again the beautiful Lake Concordia. It was good to drive in the city. Past the Junkersee and this is where the fun started. Partly very icy passages. This time the route went via Neu Königsaue. Behind the Königsauer See the entire path was then covered with snow and ice. Junior was obviously having fun and I had beads of sweat on my forehead so as not to fall. From Neu Königsaue there was a stretch of country road. Past the adventure playground and the lake was in sight. The sun and the cold conjured up beautiful light over the lake. It's great here in every season. We took the way back via the country road to Frose and then turned back onto the agricultural road below the Königauer See. That brought us back to the starting point. 15km radius well used.

Today we went on tour alone.
This round starts at the Johannistor and first led me through the city center to Mehringer Strasse.
Here I took the beautiful forest path below the hospital parallel to the B180 and climbed up to the Birkenweg. There was still a lot of snow up there. Once on the main road and then on the dirt road down to Mehringer Strasse.
Now I followed the main road into town to behind the gas station and turned off in the direction of Walkmühlenweg. I crossed the one and took the path behind the fulling mill bath to the Salzkoth. The melted snow made it very difficult to get ahead here and it turned into a mud fight. A short break at Villa Westerberge. We continued following the Wipper cycle path to Groß Schierstedt. There was a coffee break at the weir. Now I followed the Dammweg to the Wipperbrücke in the village. I crossed the train tracks and followed the road towards the police school. Below the Ochsenkopf there were a lot of people sledding in the snow, so I went straight across the field. That was a good decision. On the snow cover it was great and you got a different perspective on Aschersleben. Now it was back in Aschersleben. I crossed the cemetery and came back to the starting point through the cosmonaut district and the train station. It was funJanuary 9, 2021

Today I had a date with three beautiful women! It went back to the Harz. We parked between Trautenstein and Benneckenstein on a small parking lot for hikers! That was another wonderful snow tour today. First we went to the rolling mill. There we could have a nice snack in the refuge and stamp it right away. After our refreshment, we went down into the Dammbachtal through beautifully snow-covered forests and then climbed up to the Carlshausturm. On the tower, despite the clouds, you had no foresight, but a beautiful view over the snow-covered Harz. A great place. Then it went back to the car. There were no stamps for me today, I already have them. The ladies are slowly catching up! 👌👍😊

Nice hike to the Walzenhütte HWN 50 and the Carlsturm HWN 51. The fir trees are covered in snow and simply beautiful winter time for hiking ❄️⛄

Today we went in the morning towards the fir tree. When we arrived, we went in the direction of the Kapitelsberg HWN 44 with a really nice stamp and protection hut and a great view of the Upper Harz. The toboggans went through the woods and we were actually on our own. The grandchildren had fun in the snow and grandma / grandpa too 😊

Today we went on a great winter hike to Tanne! It's a nice feeling to walk through empty forests and to be the first to leave your mark in the snow! The stamping point on Kapitelsberg is beautiful. Then we went back to Tanne with the sledge and family on a big round! The children were happy and we were finally able to enjoy a winter landscape. Great!
