At 3,366 feet (1026 m), Meall Garbh is the second summit on the Tarmachan Ridge if traversing from the east. It's not very prominent but has a brilliant narrow grassy ridgeline which can feel quite airy in bad weather. At the end of the ridge is a scrambly descent, which can be avoided by following a faint path to the right.

The ridgeline makes for a nice walk experience. Not very narrow, so even for those with vertigo easily doable.

Beautiful ridge, but feels tricky when very windy. The descent has a very tricky section at the end. We couldn't find the detour and had to scramble down. Tricky, especially with hard winds. Otherwise extremely beautiful!
