The SalzInhibitoror Walls are quarries, some of which have already been shut down or, as on the Bockshorn, parts of which are still being mined. The Bockshorn developed into an important alternative area in the 1990s. The Kutter and Mauer rocks are located on the Rheinkalk GmbH quarry site within the fence and can therefore no longer be climbed.
