Gatehouse and administration building of Zeche Constantin Shaft X, Bochum-Hiltrop

"The area of ​​shaft 10 in Bochum-Hiltrop will continue to be used commercially and industrially. Some buildings are still preserved. A special feature is the gatehouse, in which the mine administration was located. It was exemplary renovated and converted into apartments. Even the small mounted clock tower over the passage is back in function.
The shaft with Protegohaube lies shortly behind the gatehouse in a wood strip. With the coking plant operated here, the colliery located on a hill with adjacent landfill dominated the rural district of Bochum-Hiltrop. Today, this view is hardly conceivable.
