The central market square of Wolfsburg is in front of the town hall on Porschestrasse. It is bordered by the town hall with the carillon and the Alvar Aalto cultural center, which houses the city library. The weekly market takes place here on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

When you speak of the "Marktplatz" in Wolfsburg, you usually mean the Rathausplatz (also called Rathausmarkt). Since Wolfsburg is a young city, founded only in 1938, there is no medieval marketplace here, but a modern, spacious center directly on Porschestraße.

Ideally, there would also be a "Beginning of the pedestrian zone" marker at the other end – and, to complete the picture, a "End of the pedestrian zone" marker at each end.
Then the entire street section is marked four times: mundane in reality, but impossible to miss on Komoot.
