Eine wunderschöne Wanderung in SZ-Bad zu Liebenburg mit viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, v. a. Greifpark, Skulpturenweg und Schloss Liebenburg. Geplannt war zum Schluss eine Tasse Glühwein und etwas Leckerbissen auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt SZ-Bad. Leider bauen sie den Weihnachtsmarkt ab, nicht wie im Website gezeigt bis zum 22.12.2025. Ich bin dann nach SZ-Lebenstedt gefahren, um laut Stadtmarketing den großen Weihnachtsmarkt (natürlich innnerhalb von SZ) zu ebesuchen. Letztendlich habe ich mir einer Tassen Glühwein und leckerer Bratwurst auf dem klein aber fein Weihnachtsmarkt gegönnt.

Heute ist Tag des Geotops. Leider spielte das Wetter nicht mit. Mittags war regnerisch. Nachmittag war trocken aber windig. Als ich am Geopunkt Jurameer Schandelah (bis 16 Uhr) ankam, war die Veranstaltung schon um. Trotz des windigen Wetters genoss ich den Fahrt immer noch in gewissem Maße. Zum Schluß gönnte ich mir ein Eis.

Today is Open Monument Day.
A well-known "lost place" - the Schöppenstedt Tower - is being renovated in keeping with its heritage status and is set to reopen in 2027 (very ambitiously) as a modern inn with a beer garden.

I've driven past PTB many times, but I have no idea what kind of federal institute it actually is.
