This fountain, which is located directly on Hasselbachweg, gets its name from the shape of the stone: Kaiserstuhl. The lava stone comes from the Eifel from the Tertiary period and is approximately
80 million years old. As a symbol of original natural power, it now donates fresh drinking water that comes from the transport pipeline from the Westerbeck and Rühen waterworks to the Nordsteimke elevated drinking water tank.
