The tranquil town of Bad Grönenbach is a recognized Kneipp spa. But here you will not only find refreshment for your tired legs, you can also make yourself comfortable in one of the restaurants in the old town. On a foray through the town you can also discover several historical buildings.

Bad Grönenbach is primarily known as a health resort and Kneipp spa. But also for the medieval festival "Anno 1525", which takes place every two years at Bad Grönenbach Castle. One of the sights in Bad Grönenbach is the High Castle with the district educational garden and the Castle Active Park. Another excursion destination is the Bad Clevers natural outdoor pool, which also has a mini golf course.

The market square is the "living room" of the town. The town hall, built in 1936/37, is also located here and has long been a listed building due to its harmonious design that is well suited to the surroundings.

Ludwig Eberle, academic painter and honorary citizen of his hometown of Bad Grönenbach, has depicted two events of significance for the town on the gable using sgraffito technique: the conquest of land by the first Alemannic settlers, who thrust their spears into the damp stream bed on the Ur-Ach, taking possession of the area. Above this, the granting of market rights in 1485 by the Habsburg Emperor Friedrich III to Marshal von Pappenheim, three years after he became Lord of Grönenbach. The market coat of arms, the silver wavy bar in a green field, is on the town hall balcony.

The south side of the square is occupied by the guest house (built in 1657), the former "Zum Löwen" inn, which was a comfortable and spacious place to stop for a drink. In 1949, Dr. Armin Krautheim set up the first closed Kneipp bathing area in the basement. It took until 1973 to convert it into a "guest house", which has become a meeting place for guests and citizens in the middle of town. Today you will find the spa and guest information here, as well as the Kursaal, which is used for various events. But the beautiful market square is also a good venue. From May to September, with a few exceptions, there are concerts with local and regional brass bands every Sunday evening. But the market square also offers a wonderful backdrop for club festivals and open-air concerts.
