A mighty rock from Nagelfluh, which the Allgäu people sometimes call Herrgottsbeton, houses the geological organs. The name alone gives an idea of what to expect here: rock formations reminiscent of organs. It is exactly like that. The age of the formations should be interesting - the ravages of time have been gnawing at the rock for more than half a million years. Penetrating water thus had plenty of time to soften the hard rock, to loosen it and, by flushing it out, to create pipes up to 15 m high, which stand next to each other like organ pipes.
