The Gschnitztal trail is a very beautiful trail in the valley of the same name; 9km it runs flat through the valley behind, always more or less along the stream, sometimes crossing it without being trampled on by pedestrians (because they have their own way, just like the skaters have their routes), and then it's the 9km again back. Great views of the surrounding mountains, sometimes through a small forest, usually across flat snowy meadows. At the end lies the mill village of Gschnitz: an open-air museum on the mill theme, now of course closed in winter.
