This is one of the main ways out of London from Hackney – via Lee Bridge road. This is a cycleway all the way out to the beginning of Epping forrest (if you're up for gravel), so pretty straight forward and safe (both ways).

Good quality cycleway through a number of busy junctions. Not quite as quick as using the road, and a bit bumpy in sections, but overall a really nice effort by the council.
