The Spinas inn, first mentioned in 1876 as the former Suvretta restaurant, is idyllically nestled between old larches in the Val Bever. When the Albula Tunnel was being built more than 100 years ago, Spinas was a small shanty town in which up to 400 men, women and children lived. Today only a few individual buildings remain. One of them is the Gasthaus Spinas, 1818 m above sea level, with its 2 cozy rooms, the over 100-year-old, original French bowling alley and fondue room, it is a unique jewel in the Upper Engadine.
