The historic farmhouse (a so-called four-column half-timbered house) was dismantled into all small parts and rebuilt here in Bockelskamp in just four years thanks to the villagers' own efforts. The construction was part of the EXPO project "Dorf 2000", in which the municipality of Wienhausen participated. The building also provides space for a kindergarten as well as for the shooting club on the top floor.
