The Niederzell rectory next to the Church of St. Peter and Paul was rebuilt in 1732. The construction was commissioned by the Prince-Bishop of Konstanz, Johann Franz Freiherr Schenck von Stauffenberg. His coat of arms is above the entrance door. This bishop was one of the ancestors of the freedom fighter Claus Graf Schenck von Stauffenberg, who was executed by the Nazi regime in 1944.
