The "Enzenloch" is a sinkhole on the Wilferdinger Höhe and its deepest point!

    Further information:
Dye experiments show that the water that "naturally" seeps into the Kämpfelbach stream and "predominantly" reappears in the Kämpfelbach spring in Ispring.

Even "earlier" generations had assumed that it flowed into the Enz, which is also why the Enzenloch is named after it.

During the development of the surrounding industrial area in the 1970s, it had to be connected to the Pforzheim sewer system. For this purpose, a sewage tunnel, whose inlet is near the Enzenloch, was driven through the deeper layers of the Wallberg to the Malschbach valley near Dietlinger Straße. The "surface water" from the Wilferdinger Höhe collected via the sewer system is thus channeled to the municipal sewage treatment plant, and during heavy rainfall, also into the Malschbach stream via an overflow structure.
In any case, this water now "ultimately" flows into the Enz 🤔

Path with obstacles and moss, in places with mud.

Anyone who has problems with "obstacles, moss and mud" should "almost certainly" not go there❗️
