The center of the Alzenau district of Kälberau is the pilgrimage church "Maria zum Rauhen Wind". The inhabitants of Alzenau and the surrounding area have been praying to the "Mother of God of the Rough Wind" in Kälberau for centuries.

The pilgrimage church, which was provided with the modern extension of the Würzburg cathedral builder Hans Skull in the fifties of the 20th century, is a true gem and a place of contemplation and contemplation. In the old Gothic part from the 15th century is the miraculous image venerated by the faithful, which gave the building its name.
