Close to the slave wall, in fact a guide wall to help direct water into the salt pans, you will find the remains and remains of old buildings and inlet works. A little piece of history almost taken back by nature

Hiking

This has nothing to do with an inlet to the salt pans. The pictures show the remnants of a lime kiln (kalk oven); the wall was the border between two plantations. Also in this area is the ruin of the old salt storage and the remnants of the old salt pier.
