The current building dates from 1664 and has a single nave, with a Greek cross floor plan and a half-orange dome in the center. In it, the Brotherhood of the Descent has its canonical headquarters, which processions during Holy Week on Good Friday in the afternoon.

The Chapel belonged to the old "Hospital de la Pedrera", from the 17th century, which, due to its abandonment, was destroyed in 1640 but the chapel was later rebuilt thanks to the devotees.
