The Church of San Pedro is located in the center of our city, opening its facades to the streets: Lanza, Ruiz Morote and General Rey, its true dedication being that of the Church of San Pedro and San Pablo.

It was ordered to be built by the Caballeros de la Flor y Nata of Ciudad Real (Velarde, Céspedes and Treviño) in the second half of the 14th century and it did not end up being built according to the original plans as additions were made in the artistic styles that followed, in addition due to the problems that arose in its construction, which forced it to have that fortress-like appearance with a low height in its central nave compared to the lateral ones and those thick buttresses on the north side.
