Sztutowo (Kaszb. Sztutowò, German. Stutthof) - a village located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Nowodworski poviat, in the Sztutowo commune, in the area of Żuławy Wiślane, by the provincial road No. 501. The village is the seat of the Sztutowo commune, which also includes the village of Grochowo Drugie.

The town is the seat of the Sztutowo commune. There is a black cormorant reserve between Sztutowo and Kąty Rybackie.
Before the 18th century
The first mentions of Sztutowo appeared in 1432 [4].

18th-20th century
After the First Partition of Poland, Sztutowo was annexed by Prussia. In the years 1773–1918 Sztutowo was under the Prussian administration, and in 1919 it was incorporated into the Free City of Gdańsk. On September 1, 1939, it was incorporated into the Third Reich.

The Second World War
KL Stutthof
In the years 1939–1945 there was a German concentration camp "KL Stutthof" in the commune. It was the longest operating concentration camp outside of the pre-war borders of Germany. It was established during the September campaign, shortly after the occupation of Pomerania and the Free City of Gdańsk. Currently, the Stutthof Museum in Sztutowo operates here.
