The Collignon dike is a maritime defense of the port of Cherbourg, located in Tourlaville.
It constitutes, to the east, the final part of the Cherbourg dyke, thus closing the Cherbourg harbor, by extending the Eastern dyke, from which it is separated by the Cabart-Danneville pass.
It rests on the shore, in the middle of Collignon beach.
On February 10, 2014, Ports Normands Associés bought it from the French Navy, along with Pelee Island and the Eastern sea wall.

The collignon dike is a little apart, it is a bit against the tourist beaches. It is the paradise of wind surfer, windsurfers among others and it is so pleasant.
