The quarry pond is located in the Breitheide leisure area, which in summer also has barbecue facilities at specially built barbecue areas. Bringing animals of all kinds is prohibited from May 1st to September 30th of each year! On the weekends, the quarry pond is under the supervision of the DLRG. Admission is free, and the community of Weingarten provides a paid parking lot for cars and motorbikes.
