Wolfgang Schott, father of "ERNA", Seßlach, Bavaria (Died July 2019) "Nature sets the direction"
In the midst of anticipation and preparations for the 2019 Sculpture Symposium, the news of the artist's illness and death hit us like a blow. A Douglas fir over 100 years old from the forest behind the reservoir was felled to realize his sculptor's dream. A man like a tree, with deep roots, a strong stance, and a lasting impression. In memory of Wolfgang Schott.
