The Schifflache is a right tributary of the Main near Hanau-Großauheim in Hesse. It arises in a quarry forest near Großkrotzenburg near the federal highway 8. The Main used to flow in this boggy alluvial forest. The area is now a protected area.

The ship area draws a bow around Großkrotzenburg and emerges from the forest. It crosses under the Hanau-Aschaffenburg railway line and flows between the Staudinger power plant and the L3309 in a north-westerly direction to Großauheim. The ship area crosses the Limes Bridge, flows through some gardens and finally flows into the Main.
