Here you have a good view of the amphitheater. The entrance is on the other side on Via Sant'Efisio.
Opening times: Tue-Sun 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed on Mondays

views from the road through the fence are excellent. perhaps better than paying the entry fee, at least while access is limited because of renovation work

The Roman amphitheater in Cagliari is the most important public building of the Roman period. It is located in a natural valley on the southern slopes of the Buon Cammino hill. Unfortunately, it was used as a quarry in the Middle Ages, and as a result, only a small part of it remains.
