Kulturspeicher Leer

The Kulturspeicher is an old harbor warehouse in the middle of Leer's old town.
All kinds of events take place there. Readings, theater, cabaret, lectures
and concerts are on the program. The hall can be rented.
The Kulturspeicher Café with winter garden is on the ground floor.
In the Kulturspeicher garden, which extends to the harbor, there is a sensory garden, the urban ecological "Leer path" and art installations.
Since 2014, the city library, together with the "Culture is good for Leer" foundation, has transformed the Kulturspeicher garden into a festival meadow every May. Then there is a cultural festival for
the whole family - music, dance, art, food and a book flea market are among the items on the program.leer.de/kulturspeicher

The house in Wilhelminengang was built in 1778 as a port warehouse near the trading port of Leer and was used for the temporary storage of goods that were transported by ship in boxes, sacks and barrels or otherwise packaged.
