The cycle path begins at the former train station in Maroldsweisach and runs along the old railway line past Voccawind and Todtenweisach to Pfaffendorf. From here the route runs alongside the B279 via Junkersdorf, Pfarrweisach until just before Fischbach. You have to go under the B279, then immediately turn left to the former Fischbach train station. From there on the former railway line via Eyrichshof to Ebern.

Relatively unspectacular valley but with a wonderful railway cycle path.
The Weisach rises somewhere near Maroldsweisach and flows into the Baunach near Pfarrweisach.
Even with the current heat and dryness in August 2022, the Weisach has not yet dried out.
