Hiking Highlight
In the middle of the Upper Palatinate Forest between Falkenberg and Windischeschenbach lies the wild and romantic Waldnaab Valley, also known as the “Grand Canyon of the Upper Palatinate”. The river has made its way through the granite rocks and formed bizarre rock formations. In places, however, its bank is also very flat and lush green.

On the meadow you can have a wonderful picnic and watch the water wheel at work. In winter, when the water wheel is frozen, it is a very special photo motif.

Pure nature. Cannot be captured properly with the camera. So take your time and see it with your own eyes.

A wonderful valley with an even more beautiful circular hiking trail that reflects the peace and quiet of nature. It is always a beautiful hiking spot. The area offers a lot of opportunities for young and old. Likewise, climbing over roots and small rocks right on the water.
