You walk past the dilapidated barracks of Štítary on a hiking trail that was only built in 2010. It leads from Krásná via Štítary through Újezd to the westernmost point of the Czech Republic.
The barracks are not cordoned off, but there are signs saying that entry is prohibited. When I visited, a group of young people were loudly playing "war" and a shot was fired. I can only warn against entering this lost place.
