If you are on the road with a racing bike and do not want to drive this section on the dike, you can (must!) Look over the dike at the northern end of this section. Then it goes up the dike on asphalt and then further north on the water side, absolutely suitable for racing bikes.
If you just rush past behind the dike, you miss a magnificent view of the container terminal and the mouth of the Weser.

Absolutely the short way on the dike drive. Although this is anything but suitable for racing (pavement, large potholes and bumps), but compensated for it with the magnificent view of the Aussenweser and the container cranes in the port of Bremerhaven.
