The vertical kilometer is a classic time trial of the Chamonix valley. From Le Brévent, you follow the switchbacks under the cable car. The official stop is at the paraglider takeoff from Brévent but many stop at the terrace in front of the station at the top - already 800m. Less than an hour is very good ... the record of 34.04 is held by the Frenchman François Gonon, who beat the time of Kilian Jornet in 2015.
