It is a pedunculate oak about 26 meters high with a circumference of about 6 m, whose age is estimated at 350 years. The oak has received its name because it served Maximilian Dasio as a model for the design of the back on the stamped from 1927 to 1933 5-Reichsmark coin with the motif of a "Eichbaums".
Baum has died since 2012. But still stands.
