The Olpebach flows south-east of Kürten in a south-westerly direction, a 6km long stream that rises on the border with Lindlar and flows into the Kürtener Sülz behind Sülze. The Olpebach Valley is a sparsely populated area with a charming hilly landscape, with fields, meadows, mixed forest and numerous small, nameless streams. In and around the Olpebachtal are Hembach, Delling, Schultheismühle, Olperhof, Olpermühle, Büchel, Kohlgrube, Eichen, Olpe and Kaas.
