Kapfweg Path

The Kapfweg is a small asphalt road that leads through the nature reserve "Egenhäuser Kapf with Bömbachtal". No traffic and the landscape is idyllic. I recommend taking a break at the barbecue area below the Kapf summit and enjoying the wonderful panorama.

After the biggest highlight, the AugenBlick viewing point on the Kapf, the phenomenal view doesn't end there.
In principle, you can go at a good pace on the route, the surface has been renewed in places, but it would be sensible to take it easy because of the large number of hikers. That's a good thing, because you can enjoy nature - and maybe take a short break on one of the benches. My favorite bench is the one just before Walddorf, from where you have a great view of the Oberjettinger water tower on the Kühlenberg.
