Virginia and Leonard Woolf's cottage is tiny and nestles in a small garden: a vegetable garden, a perennial garden, a small orchard and a croquet field with a wonderful view. Both of them wrote here - Virginia Woolf in her own room or in the summer in the small hut in the garden.

This gorgeous house with a stunning conservatory served as Virginia Woolf's home for over 20 years, up until her death in 1941. Complete with a writing lodge, wonderful gardens and its immaculately-preserved contents, the house is maintained by the National Trust and open to visitors during the summer months.
