In the Gusow cemetery there is a war cemetery consisting of a stele in the middle of four metal plaques on granite stone as well as some individual memorials for those who died in World War II.
On the front of the stele you can read the inscription "In memory of the fallen 1939 - 1945", on the back "You, who are still alive, ensure that peace remains".
