Hansa Park was founded in 1973. It was the first German Legoland to open, but it didn't last long due to a lack of visitors. The park had to close again in 1976 and was finally completely rebuilt and reopened as Hansaland. Always with a maritime theme, the theme of "The Hanseatic League in Europe" has been pursued for several years. The entire entrance area was designed particularly beautifully, but attractions have also been specifically focused on sights and cities in the entire Baltic Sea region and the Hanseatic League for some time now.In addition to various roller coasters for all ages and types, there are also a number of rides. Of course, the park continues to be all about the maritime landscape with many water attractions. There are fewer slow rides - apart from children's carousels. Nevertheless, you can still spend a good day there with a flower sea boat ride, park railway and water rides, even if you have a weak stomach. There are various shows throughout the day - an open-air stage, a children's show, a variety show and a laser show. The food on offer is very varied and inexpensive. You should know that food at kiosks is generally cheaper than in restaurants, even if it is the same dish! Fish dishes are available in the area near the park entrance.
