Archaeological excavations have shown that prehistoric settlements from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age existed in the area around Dietfurt in the Altmühltal Nature Park. As interest and enthusiasm for these historical finds continued to grow, it was time in 2000 to set up a support association in Dietfurt with the task of building the “ALCMONA adventure village” in every detail.
