The Staufenburg was built in the middle of the 13th century and "razed" after only ten years. The former curtain wall and two ring walls can still be seen today. The ascent is via an adventurous path. Since the Staufenburg is located in a natural forest that is no longer being researched, the path will probably soon be overgrown or blocked.
