An absolute MUST: you can't describe it, you have to see it. You can easily cycle to the ticket office. The 12 euro entrance fee is well spent.
After the rockslide in 2017, the gorge was closed for a long time. Now everything has been re-secured and sensors are reporting rock movements.

Quite a very rewarding hike through the gorge.
I still remember the excursion many years ago with our professor from Salzburg. At that time, the gorge was only accessible for experienced people, there was no such crowd yet.
